Privacy Policy

Effective 25 August 2026. Covers wodfoundry.com, your gym's own subdomain, and the adverts we run on Facebook and Instagram.

WOD Foundry is a gym timer built and run by Cox Technologies, a one-person studio in Orlando, Florida. This page explains what reaches us, what we do with it, and how to get it removed.

The short version. We collect what we need to run your timer and bill you. We never see your card. We do not sell your information. The timer itself does not track the people in your gym.

What we collect

When you claim a subdomain

We store your gym name, the subdomain you choose, and your email address, so the timer can exist and we can reach you about it. We also keep a one-way hash of your admin key, which means we cannot read your key back, only check it.

When you pay

Stripe handles the payment and holds the card details. They never reach us. We keep Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers so billing works, plus your referral code if you were sent by another gym.

When your timer runs

The timer reports back which timer format was used and when, so we know the product is working and which features matter. It records nothing about the people in your class. No names, no faces, no attendance, no camera, no microphone. If you use the shared screen feature, the room code and the timer state pass through our server so the screens stay in sync.

Automatically, when a page loads

The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary web server records such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time. These keep the site up and fend off abuse.

Advertising and cookies

The marketing pages at wodfoundry.com and wodfoundry.com/founders carry the Meta Pixel. It tells us when someone who saw one of our adverts on Facebook or Instagram visits those pages, scrolls as far as the pricing, begins filling in the signup form, opens the free timer, starts a checkout, or subscribes, so we can tell which adverts are worth paying for. It records that those things happened and which advert brought you; it does not send Meta what you typed. Meta receives that activity under its own privacy policy and may use cookies to do it.

The timer does not carry the pixel. Your gym's subdomain, the wall display, and the timer app are deliberately excluded, because tracking there would mean tracking your members, and they are not our audience. We do not run any other analytics or advertising trackers.

You can opt out of Meta's ad targeting in your Facebook ad settings, or block the pixel with any standard content blocker. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

How we use it

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information and we do not hand it to data brokers.

How long we keep it

Your gym record lasts as long as your subscription, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Billing records are kept as long as tax rules require. Timer usage records are kept in aggregate to understand how the product is used.

Your choices

Ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will. Cancel and ask for removal and your gym record goes. Email contact@wodfoundry.com. Depending on where you live you may have extra rights under laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, the CCPA or the GDPR; we apply the same approach to everyone.

Children

This is a product sold to gym owners. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Everything is served over HTTPS. Admin keys are stored as one-way hashes, never in the clear. We keep as little as the product can function on.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes and the change is described here rather than made quietly.
